So we are in the middle of a huge project. Writing six years of Bible curriculum for all the Baptist Haiti Mission Schools (about 350 or so schools in the country of Haiti). It is a group effort. But as I do my small part, the Lord is revealing His character to me in new and powerful ways.

I was working on writing the story of Sodom and Gomrrah. Something jumped out at me. Gen. 19:14. When Lot goes to warn his two son-in-laws that the city is about to be destroyed and they needed to get out fast. The two men thought Lot was joking. (To laugh out loud in merriment or scorn) Interesting.

Why do you think that was? Was Lot just a practical joker? That theory doesn't quite sit well with his being one of the cities leaders-sitting at the city gates. Or was Lot characterized by making a mockery of God?

Sorry about the confusion everyone. I will continue this blog site. Dave was the phantom blogger (see last post). He somehow figured out what needed to be done to get me into this year and the new version of blogger. I will try to delete the other spot.

Well, I've had some difficulty making the jump to the new blogger/google blog format...

But I'm back, so I'll leave some real news soon. By the way, I did return safely from Hawaii and I'm now marooned back in California.
