Thought I'd send a few pics to let you all know that we're alive and well. We made it safely to Haiti, although we had many delays, missed a flight and had to shuttle to Miami from Ft. Lauderdale. A few days ago a big group of us walked up to Ft. Jauques. The UN soldiers were so taken aback with blonde-headed Americans that they begged their picture be taken with the blondest of us-Zailey. We were so shocked when they thrust a machine gun into her hands for the picture. The next man unholstered his hand gun for Zailey to hold. (Don't be upset Dave-he didn't let her put her finger in the trigger-hold.) I love the diversity of cultures!
