Yes, it has been a long time. It is relatively safe to assume that I have come out of hibernation at last. The sun is shining and Zailey and I are on our way to the beach. Bible study is resuming and I feel alive again. I am so excited about our upcoming journey through the gospel of Mark!!
I decided that I would keep a running list of the books that I am reading. Perhaps this will encourage me to finish some before starting more. This is my list of completed (yeah!) books for January...

I was wondering if you'd ever post on this blog again. I found you thru Scott F. blog. Think back a long time and you may or may not remember who we are. We were a part of MB from 1991 to 1993 when at that time we moved to Colorado. David and I for a while went to the MB bible study at Dana and Ron's house in Northridge. But just ask your David. He should remember my David at least since they went to school together. LAB I think....I'm getting old.....:-)
NO!!! We will never be old, Laura! I'ts been a long time. Of course we remember you guys. Dave remembers when he first met your David in third grade. He walked funny because he broke his toe. Dave has to go to your way on business once in a while. E mail me at karimiaway_at_gmaildotcom

haha! i need to set more goals... i decided i would read all the classics this year. and am off to poor start. haha!
miss you all!
My kids and I recently finished Augustus Caesar's World. We also have read the Archimedes book and a similar book called Galen and the Gateway to Medicine. We read Mara and Hittite Warrior last year. :)
We're reading Trials and Triumphs (which has a similar flavor to Foxes book of Martyrs-- but isn't all martyrs). I also am planning on reading the "Evolution: The Grand Experiment" book soon. A lot of the other books (re: character, marriage, womanhood and Bible) have also been on my recently read or soon to be read lists lately.
I'll have to keep checking back to see what else I should read. :)
Looking forward to seeing you this summer!
I finished reading Go Dog Go. Does that count for anything?
Kami - you make me chuckle. Bring it along in June to California. Garrett loves to read, so you could get closer to him with a book - unless his Grampa is nearby. He might make you let Grampa read it to him.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in June - Aunt Ruth
That is an INSANE amount of reading! You are amazing.
